I saw a cargo net in a Super K-mart in Centreville, VA today for $15.95. It claimed to fit cars, trucks and SUVs. It attached with hooks or 'sticky tape' (velcro or similar?), depending on the surface. I opened the package to peek inside and it seems to be of reasonable quality. Top and bottom cords are 1/8 inch bungee material and the remainder of the net is a nylon fishnet mesh. The box cover showed it installed in the rear of a sedan, with typical trunk liner material as well as in the back of a pickup truck (metal bed, no liner). I would guess that one type of fastener is used for each type of connection.
Hope this helps.
