Apparently my Prius when received will have a Carbon Fiber Appearance Dashboard. Does anyone else have this? What is it--some kind of high tech thing? Doesn't sound too enticing but perhaps i'm wrong.
Can anyone enlighten me?

One's I've seen elsewhere under similar names for other cars are kind of a grey on black grid/weave pattern, supposed to look like a carbon composite. Because of course you'd have carbon composide on the trim, since that's where the most critical weight/strength concerns are ;-)

Sounds like a dealer add-on kit. Big money maker for the dealer. You can buy the kit and put it on yourself if you want to save some bucks.
