The hybrid powertrain version of the 2007 Toyota Camry sedan will have a sticker price of $26,480, including shipping, when it reaches dealer showrooms in May.

The Camry hybrid's sticker price is about $5,000 less than the sticker price for the hybrid version of the 2006 Honda Accord. The Accord hybrid without a navigation system has a sticker price of $31,540, including shipping.

The Toyota Camry hybrid will be powered by a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine mated to an electric motor. The powertrain is rated for a combined output of 187 hp. The Honda Accord hybrid is powered by a 3.0-liter V-6 and electric motor rated at a combined 253 hp.

The Camry hybrid's list of standard equipment includes a premium sound system, cruise control, tilt and telescope steering wheel, power-adjustable driver's seat and automatic climate control. - Dale Jewett | Automotive News"
