Hello All,

I am a little concerned, recently I started noticing a brown fluid spraying out the the rear vent near the right back seat. The liquid coming out is a dark brown not very thick, and spraying all over the ceiling, passenger seat, and floor. The prius I have is a 2007 Prius. I have been told that this vent works at cooling the battery located behind the back seat. Has anyone else noticed this from their prius? Does anyone know what this means?
Side Note: I have used shout and cleaned the liquid up before, and will have to again, I have not allowed food or drinks in my car since noticing this in case it was a back seat passenger that accidently spillled... unfortunately this is not the case :/ I have noticed that the fluid does build up in the vent openings.

Thank you all in advanced!

Have you made a smell test (but don't taste it, could be poisonous). Did you have had a look at the battery ? I never heard of brown liquid of batteries, but then I don't know modern bats anyhow.
Whatever you do, be careful, as most of those stuff is toxic and corrosive!
