I own a 2016 prius. I changed my brakes and the
Brake, ABS,VSC, (!) warning lights
came on. This happened before when I push in the calaber to install new brakes. The dealer used laptop to turn off and charged me 4 trillion dollars. Is there a way I can reset this on the newer prius models. Old way doesnt seem to work

I found this on You Tube.
I have a 2014 Prius V and had similar issue, took it to the dealer and they informed me that my Brake Master Cylinder was bad, so we had it changed. Let me tell you that it is not cheap to repair but for safety purposes its worth it. Good luck.

Brake, ABS,VSC, (!) warning lights

2014 Prius V with 200000 miles on it changed the brakes and had the mentioned lights come on. Resseted with techstream and a few drive later lights would come on. The brake pedal would bottom out and had to pump it to stop the car. Took to the Toyota dealership and they informed me that the Brake Master Cylinder was bad and the ABS system was fine. We decided to get it fix. The total of the repair $2123.04. Would have cost more if the ABS Pump was Bad. Yes I did the pin reset on the OBD several times but it kept coming back. Also purchased the Techstream with cable. All of these were temporary fixes. Moral of the story, I am all for fixing things myself, but when it comes to brakes sometimes it has to be fixed by dealer. PS The recalls did not apply due to miles on the car. Hope this helps...
