I'm wondering if anyone has gotten the Prius Bluetooth hands-free system to work with the Motorola CD600 Bluetooth adaptor that plugs into non-Bluetooth phones. My phone is a Motorola V400.

I can get it to connect, sorta. But often, I can hear the other party and they can't hear me back. And when they can hear me, there are often funky echoes and electronic "feedback" sounds.

Another problem: I can't use the features on the Prius touchscreen to command the cellphone to answer, hang up or dial. I get an error message saying "check mobile device."

Calls to Motorola and Toyota haven't been fruitful yet, due to the Thanksgiving holiday. I'm hoping somebody who's been through this can offer some friendly advice.
