I just got a Varizon Motorola V710 phone.
I got it to work with my 2004 Prius.... except I can't figure out how or if I can upload the phone directory???
Also if I want to go to a private mode and talk using the phone how can I do that
Any comments??

You Can't

Verizon intentionally crippled the bluetooth features of that phone making it so you cannot sync the phonebook. I have Verizon and am pretty pissed about it. I was planning on using that phone with my new prius (coming in next week), however now I have no options for bluetooth.

The reason why you can't is that Verizon wants you to use their Send Pix service (which costs 25 cents/pic) instead of just using bluetooth to send the pictures directly to your comp. Unfortunately, syncing the phonebook uses the same data transfer protocol.

I'm looking into other wireless carriers....but their coverage areas all suck compared to verizon (atleast in new hampshire/mass areas)
