Does anyone know if the Blackberry products will link with the Prius' Bluetooth? I am thinking of buying a Blackberry, to be specific the 7100g from Cingular. Thanks.

Toyota has posted a list of what's compatible. MRV knows what it is - MRV knows everything, and usually will tell quite a lot of it. :) Imagine what she knows and DOESN'T tell! Oh my!

Agree, Michelle V knows . How can she be so frequently available.
She is one very busy lady, she jumps from one Prius forum to next
posting/answering FAQ. I do see her or hear or is it read, Her prints
all over the web, 3-4-5 diff. forums. Just amazing !

I do wish she would show herself, then. No Blackberry products are on the lists I have been able to find, but want to make double sure before I decide not to buy one. I had a Treo 650 when I first got the car, and did a swap with a friend for a RAZR because the Prius did not like the Treo for some reason.

I've seen this report on the Blackberry 7100T:
http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/200 ... ssage/2446

As stated in the 2004 Prius Navigation Owner's Manual, page 109:
<quote>
INFORMATION
This system supports the following service:
* HFP (Hands Free Profile) Ver. 1.0
* OPP (Object Push Profile) Ver. 1.1
If your cellular phone does not support
HFP, you cannot enter the Bluetooth
phone, and take OPP service individually.
</quote>

Thanks Sanny for quoting the Toyota list for me. At one point the toyota.letstalk.com site did list guides that were "coming soon" and there was some Blackberry model there, but I didn't note it down at the time...

Blackberry 7100T

Howdy, we just bought a 2004 Prius with package #9 and I have a Blackberry 7100t. The phone works fine. The transferring of the phone book feature doesn't work. I scoured the web and found nada. If anyone finds something I would love to know.

Has anyone tried this phone yet in the Prius? I've searched the forum, but haven't seen anything on this phone yet... Thanks!
