Has anyone out there found a bicycle carrier for the back of a Prius? There had been a discussion thread at this site some time ago with unsatisfactory results and I was hoping some of you know of one that can be acquired now. thanks...Perhaps someone who is selling their classic and no longer needs their bike carrier?

What brand of bike rack to put on
the hitch, I don't recall the suggestions...

I carry bikes on a Rhode Gear Speedster Shuttle 3, which straps onto the trunk. I think it would have more ground clearance than a receiver hitch, and it is cheaper than my Thule roof rack system (which I use for camping gear and building materials).

Yakima makes the "Mighty Joe" trunk mounted rack which fits most hatchbacks including the 04 Prius. Supports adjust to avoid the spoiler. Its very solid and will carry three bikes.
