Is there a way to stop the back door from opening all the way up? I've already wrecked the spoiler once when the garage opening door mechanism shredded it.
Any help would be much appreciated, and I apologize if I missed a previous answer on the same subject.

You too huh? I think I was the first to admit doing that.

I suppose one could use string or other suitable material and limit the reach of the hydraulic springs.

My parents did this once with the pickup.. they had the camper shell on and had it opened.. icky. I just keep my trunk shut as soon as I pull something out, or double check to make sure its closed..
