Well, I should've known when I first drove one that I'd end up with one. I'm the proud owner of an '05 Silver Prius with Package 6! Bought it here in Nashville @ Beaman Toyota.

Overall, the buying experience was pretty pleasant - no markup, other than a $249 processing fee they put on all vehicles. Paid sticker - there were literally people waiting to buy it if I didn't. (It had come in and had not been previously spoken for.)

Beaman has a pretty good reputation around here, so I felt comfortable going with them. I did spring for the extended warranty. It's by Toyota, 7 yr/100,000 miles bumper to bumpter, 0 deductible. Transferable and can be cancelled with a pro-rated refund. That was a grand.

Have been driving around, learning things. Got my Bluetooth phone paired, but it's erratic. It's a Verizon V710 Motorola. There is an upgraded firmware, so maybe that will help.

Next item - XM add-on.

Yes, you should go to have the firmware updated. I heard that it fixes all the connection/voice problems, still no phone contact transfer, though...

This is what my dictionary says one of several definitions of "motor" is: a comparatively small and powerful engine.

So, we have 3 engines ? since we have an ICE, and those MG1 & 2 thingees ?? 8) cool 8)
