I looked at the sheet the sevice technician gave me after the 5k service and found he claimed to inflate both front and back tires to 40 psi. Actually, when I checked both front tires had 38 whereas both back tires had 37.5 psi. My question is, should I revert to the door posted values (35 front and 33 rear) or should I leave it with the extra pressure? Also, is it better practise to equally inflate the front and back? Or is it, as I suspect, Toyota have very poor technicians? For now I have reduced the pressure in the rear to 36 psi and left the front at 38. Strangely enough though, I found the ride generally firmer and less body roll when all tires were equally inflated.
