My 2013 Prius C has a really low miles on it, 56,217 and I'm just wondering when I should expect the Hybrid battery to fail on me? I'm assuming it goes by distance driven and how old the battery is. This is my first Hybrid vehicle and don't want the expense of having to replace the hybrid battery. Kind of wish I just bought a Yaris instead or something similar.

Thanks in advance for your replies.

My 2008 with 150000 miles is still fine. Federal emission rules require Toyota to warranty the battery for 100000 miles, 150000 here in California or 15 years.

Thanks for your reply, I'm wondering more so about the Prius C as the battery is a lot smaller etc. The Prius C was released in 2012. Thanks again and sounds like you've gotten lost of life out of your Prius.
