It's not a complicated repair. I found a guy on craigslist to do mine for $80 if I buy the part. As a Lexus owner, it is my opinion that the Toyota dealer is every bit as overpriced. I bought my Prius a month ago and I see in the glovebox that the Toyota dealer charged the lady I bought it from $300 to read the CEL codes, something any auot parts store would do for free....
I'm thinking maybe LRR tire recommendations for the 2004 Prius may have changed n the last 15 years. So what are the current recommendations? I'd be pleased (make that thrilled) to find good wet and dry traction plus good tread life in a LRR tire. TIA for your thoughts.
