Default Whistling Windows..

Is this a common problem? My front driver window has been getting worse and worse.. even with the window completely down now, its whistling. I also realized my back passenger window (the one behind the driver) seems to shake and rattle with tiny bumps.. the front doesn't do this (I can only hear it if I'm sitting there on a drive).. is this something that they can fix? Its rather annoying..

Default Whistling Window

The whistle may be from the folding outside mirror. Try putting a bead of modelling clay over the seam (air gap) and see if it goes away. Not sure what a permanent fix would be.

It's not a problem in Arizona when it gets to 110 degrees outside, as we don't drive much with the windows down.

I have 2004 prius the whistling noise would start at 40-50 mph, I tried tape one the screw holes on the outside mirrors, finally fixed it today. it turns out the fix for me was to remove the speaker on the front door window, I put weather stripping inside, whistling noise gone! I'm so happy!

I too have a whistling 2004 that in every other way (mostly) is like new. Can you please provide a little more detail on your whistle fix?

The push buttons that open the glove compartment have the surface color coat starting to peel off. Not good looking. I will investigate carefully removing more as the revealed surface looks just fine.
