Default Looking for Interior Lighting for Car

I've been looking at some leds to use in some projects such as interior lighting or lighting inside my vehicle. What type of wire do you recommend to wire these leds with http://www.plasmaled.com ? Also, what kind of soldering iron should i buy?

Thanks

John

It all depends on the current they draw. Individually, the bulbs don't draw much, but collectively, it could be alot! The higher the current load, the thicker the guage wire you'll need. I figure 18 guage wire should be plenty for your application.
I wouldn't solder, instead use wire taps. But if you want to solder, any good soldering iron would do. Just be sure you get the iron good and hot before starting, and be sure the joint is good and hot before applying solder. A 35W iron should be plenty.

Just did some further checking on the site you mentioned. Their brightest set draws 3 watts with most only drawing 1 watt. Wattage is voltage multiplied by current, so current is wattage divided by voltage. So even the 3 watt draws .25A.
And their AC->DC power supply only delivers .8A, so 18 guage will definitely work. You could even go down to 20 guage.
