I haven't seen this Toyota brochure. Maybe zinzindorff9 could scan it and post it.
Fortunately or unfortunately we opted to purchase the fabric and paint protection for about CDN$800. During the time we were in the Yukon we spent a lot of time on the road, both paved and gravel, and there was a lot of snacking going on. The 12 year old had several nosebleeds and numerous spills of various liquids. One was a milk spill that didn't get attention for several weeks.
Each time I have cleaned the car I have used NOTHING but plain water on all parts of the car, inside and out. Other than the bug tar which obviously will need some kind of solvent to remove I have had no problem cleaning the vehicle satisfactorily. All stains on the fabric and marks on the plastic disappear with a little rubbing with a lint free cloth and cold water.
Am I missing something here? Are people really having trouble keeping stains away? Maybe I have lower standards.
