Default mpg dropped

I have a 2008 Prius with 115000 on it. My usual winter mpg is in the low 40s. A few months ago I noticed I would have to fill up sooner than usual. The reported consumption dropped about 5 mpg to the upper 30s. Tires are at the normal 35 psi. Any ideas of what's going on? No improvement in warmer weather.

Hi. Have you checked the air filter? How does it look? What about the MAF sensor? When was the last time you cleaned it?
