OMG, thanks for all them good Info's, the Reverse beep and the Seat belt Beep, I tried both and they both worked the 1st time. I felt like I was driving a eitheen Wheeler when backing out. so more of them noisy beeps... All I need is the Navigation Fix now... and Tint the Windows and the Wheels and I'm all set...

Do your instructions for disabling the "reverse" beep disable all of the cars beeps??

The warning beep when you open the door with the key or fob or whatever it's called still in place has prevented me from leaving it in the car several times already. I'd hate to disable that particular beep but it would be nice to disable the "reverse" beep.

No, it only changes the reverse beep.

What color to tint the wheels? Black is rather traditional...

Actually, window tinting is legal in California, but you cannot tint any glass forward of the driver, including the front side windows and the windshield. You are required to have an outside mirror on the passenger side of the vehicle if the rear window is tinted.

I did try it, but I couldn't see how to latch the armrest. I tried the tray forwards and backwards, but there isn't anything near enough to the latch to work.

I was really interested in trying it so I could use the plug inside the armrest for my phone. I tried to snake the wire out near the latch, but it prevented it from latching. (It's one of those coiled wires).

Then I tried to hook the coil over the side (slip the console box between a coil) and it latched perfectly! Really nice. The wire now drops next to my seat when not in use so it keeps everything nice and neat and out of trouble.

Well I'm gonna do the Charcoal tint since they are not Metallic and won't interfiere with any electrical in the car. and I'm doing All the windows in the car.
on the wheels I'll get some 17's either chrome or silver or something Black with Silver lips...

Get out your razor blades.

Either the cops or the Highway patrol will make you take off anything on your windshield or your front drivers and passengers side windows. I don't know about San Jose, but in San Diego they are picky. I've actually heard of people having to scrape it off while the car is pulled over to the side. Don't know if that is because they ignored repeated warnings and citations or the cops were just adament.

Before you go to the expense of putting it on, and then the expense and labor of taking it off you better check the law again.
