My 6 disc cd player/cassette has jammed in my 2005 Prius. Does anyone know what the easiest way to remove/access the player. I don't want to bugger up the dash and the heck if I can find any screws.
I'm impressed how they mount these things but it sure makes me scratch my head.

Normally all Toyota vehicles has the Audio Unit securing bracket behind the center console. So you have to go under the center dash and find/reach the securing bracket and screws I think ?

NOT, I just went to talk to one of my Tech in the service deptmnt and he said, you have to pull the vent out and find the dash securing screws there and then go and pull the glove box compartment and find another securing screws there and partially pull the dash out in order to acess the
radio ! then pull the radio securing screws !

It is indeed a pain to have to pull the whole radio out. Half the driver's side dash needs to be pulled to get the left center vent out. The right side vent is easier.
Look for the long version of instructions for adding XM/Sirius.
